As the smaller of Huntington Beach’s two top shopping centers (compared with the sprawling Bella Terra), Pacific City overlooks Huntington Beach Pier while offering access to around 50 retailers, dining establishments, and gyms. Stores include national chains Brandy Melville, Free People, Lululemon, H&M, and Urban Outfitters, local retailers such as Morning Lavender, as well as multiple cosmetics, jewelry, and home decor shops. Casa de Pilates, Equinox, and Red Sauna Studio provide exercise and spa/relaxation opportunities, alongside beach-convenient stores for bikinis, board shorts, and sunglasses. Restaurants skew American, including Bear Flag Fish Co., Bluegold, Hans’ Homemade Ice Cream, Lemonade, Old Crow Smokehouse, and Philz Coffee, plus multiple options for tacos, upscale Vietnamese LSXO, and Nardo’ Italian Kitchen. LOT 579, the center’s “modern food hall,” had only a handful of active vendors on our most recent visit.
Parking is located underneath Pacific City in a paid ($8/hour) garage, with two free hours of parking if you make a purchase or dine at one of the restaurants. As the beach is across Pacific Coast Highway (with its own parking lots), we’d recommend not parking here if you’ve planning to spend any significant time in the sand, though Pacific City chairs and benches provide visitors with comfortable views of the waves while enjoying drinks and snacks outside.
