Japanese cherry blossoms – sakura – are now so commonly associated with March and April that annual festivals celebrate their flowers (and flavors) across the world. While it’s not technically impossible to find sakura-flavored drinks and desserts outside of the spring season, they’re not as easily located year-round, which is why Santa Ana’s Findi Coffee caught our attention soon after its August 2025 opening. In a plaza with prominent THH, Hot N Juicy Crawfish, and Mom’s Supermarket locations, the Vietnamese- and Japanese-inspired Findi is relying on flavors such as sakura, the execution of its drinks, and nice vibes to set itself apart from countless similar cafes; reasonable pricing doesn’t hurt, either, especially with neighbor Din Ky offering a wide variety of drinks two doors down for $6 to $7.

Six coffee drinks (including Vietnamese phin drip options), six milky/creamy matcha drinks, four sweetened milk or coconut milk drinks, three milk-free cold brews, and three milk-free fruit/soda refreshers constitute the bulk of Findi’s menu; most are under $6, with matchas in the $6.50 to $7 range. Any drink can be further customized with pearls (80 cents), brown sugar boba (80 cents), or four different flavors of milk foam ($1 each). Eight pre-made pastries in a display case are mostly sweet pastries – almond croissants, macarons and cake pops ($2.50 each), cookies and besitos ($2.25 each) – plus meat, egg, and cheese croissant, English muffin, or sandwich options for $5 to $6.
