Bella Terra

Formerly the Huntington Center, this sprawling destination hosts numerous American chains

Just off the I-405 freeway, Bella Terra is Huntington Beach’s largest shopping center – home to over 60 stores, restaurants, and entertainment spaces somewhat connected by a walkable outdoor infrastructure similar to the Irvine Spectrum Center. Non-retail highlights include the Cinemark Century 20, a 20-screen theater including 3D and extra-large XD screens, a CorePower Yoga studio, OrangeTheory Fitness, and a Pinot’s Palette painting space. Numerous beauty, health, fashion, and banking destinations are available, alongside Barnes & Noble, Cost Plus World Market, Costco, Old Navy, REI, and Whole Foods.

While Bella Terra hosts Nightingale, an independently run and aesthetically focused cafe and brunch destination, most of the center’s food options are American chains – beyond burger joints, you’ll find California Pizza Kitchen, the Cheesecake Factory, Crumbl Cookies, King’s Fish House, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, See’s Candies, and Snooze. But there are also some Latin and Asian alternatives, including Fogo de Chao, Silverlake Ramen, and SomiSomi.

Because Bella Terra’s big box retailers are so spread out, we’d recommend selecting parking near your ultimate destination, unless you’re planning to explore. Four free lots and a theater-adjacent structure are available to guests, though only the latter offers longer than 90-minute parking. Shoppers can also consider Pacific City as another major mall in Huntington Beach.
