Another of Los Angeles’s best contemporary art galleries, Jeffrey Deitch Gallery has hosted some of the city’s most noteworthy physical and digital art exhibitions in recent years. In 2023, the full gallery was taken over by Turkish-American artificial intelligence and digital art director Refik Anadol, whose exhibitions of data-fueled art set the stage for a dedicated museum Dataland. A late 2024/early 2025 exhibition, Post Human, revisited gallery owner and art writer Deitch’s 1990s curated presentation of past, present, and future variations on the human form; futurism, modern culture, and thoughtful examinations of humanity have been common themes of the exhibitions.
There are two gallery spaces within a five-minute walk of one another, each with different rotating exhibitions. Admission is free, as is parking – if you can find it in the neighborhood without needing the immediately adjacent paid lot.
